PRESS RELEASE – Industry Leaders Set To Gather at the 2019 Midwest Staffing Conference
The annual showcase, hosted by the Illinois Search and Staffing Association and Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services, serves as the region’s premier event for the staffing and recruiting industry.
The 2019 Midwest Staffing Conference will take place May 22nd–23rd at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, IL. Each year the conference connects owners, sales consultants, and recruiters with top-tier industry experts for two days of learning, networking, and career development. This year’s speaker line-up features renowned business executives, consultants, authors, and thought leaders in the staffing and recruiting sphere. The Midwest Staffing Conference is co-sponsored by the Illinois Search and Staffing Association (ISSA) and the Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS). “The ISSA has been working hard to bring an educational and networking opportunity to Midwest staffing companies and their teams. With over 20 hours of training opportunity, everyone in the industry will find a track of training that will help expand their knowledge and propel their careers. Additionally, there are several hours of dedicated networking time for participants to talk one-on-one with our trainers, other participants and leaders of the industry,” said John Seelander, President of the Board of ISSA. “The staffing industry plays a vital role in our region’s economy, and this conference has proven to be instrumental in moving our industry forward. Our Wisconsin membership always finds great value in joining our neighboring states for two days of learning and career development,” said Tyler Emerick, President of the Board of WASS.
The conference’s first day will be centered on a “Power Recruiting Clinic” and will offer an intense deep dive into recruiting strategies, techniques, and trends. As the first day draws to a close, attendees are invited to a Launch Party hosted at City Works, where they’ll have the opportunity to network and enjoy food and drinks, including an extensive array of 90 craft beers on tap.
The second day includes a robust agenda highlighted by a keynote address from influential consultant, author, and award-winning blogger Scott Wintrip. In addition, attendees will be treated to an exciting mix of breakout sessions and workshops. As always, the exhibition expo will provide an opportunity for attendees to visit with sponsors and vendors. The event will culminate with a festive networking reception including raffles, snacks and beverages, and interactive trivia games. New members will also receive their ISSA plaques and pins.
“This year’s event is shaping up to have an excellent lineup of speakers and workshops, and we could not be more excited to participate,” added Tyler Emerick. “As an association, we have found that the Midwest Staffing Conference continues to be a key industry event in three main areas: (1) Keeping our membership INFORMED of new economic and business trends; (2) Providing workshops showcasing INNOVATIVE new technologies and methods; and (3) Celebrating the POSITIVE IMPACT our industry has on our region’s economy.”
The Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, IL will host all of the action at this year’s Midwest Staffing Conference and includes vibrant meeting space designed to captivate and engage guests.
