On December 4th of this year, Illinois Search and Staffing Association will be hosting our annual client feedback panel event. This event is a lively and energetic, no-holds-barred discussion, giving the audience an extraordinary IN-PERSON opportunity to hear directly from key buyers of staffing services and corporate HR professionals who manage HR functions, buy temporary staff, select vendors, and/or place requests with direct hire recruiters and search firms.
Our panel will be answering questions relating to new buying trends, key buying habits, rules of engagement, procurement, pet peeves and must-do’s. Our panel is shaping up to be our best ever and tentatively includes the likes of representatives from companies such as Hyatt Hotels, ACCO Brands, Mondelez Global, Discover Card Services, Tyson Foods, and Sapient. The venue for this event will be Pinstripes in Northbrook, starting at 3:30 in the afternoon. However, there’s one huge downside: it’s a limited seating event and registration will fill quickly.
So, because we are predicting standing room only, we thought we’d list 5 excuses you can use as reasons not to attend this event.
- YOUR COMPANY HAS ALREADY MASTERED THE MSA
Not everybody has figured out the system for filling out RFP and RFI documents; ultimately obtaining the signed MSA. Sometimes it’s just a process that is required and there’s no two ways about it. But since your company usually circumvents this process, and has a 100% hit rate on landing the signed MSA, you probably don’t need to show up at this event. You’ve figured it out already! - YOUR COMPANY DOESN’T NEED NEW BUSINESS
This event will give the audience and insight as to what it takes to not only be a good vendor, but also what it takes to earn the trust of a company that buys recruiting and staffing services. Where most companies are always searching for new business, maybe yours isn’t? If your funnel is just too full to even think about new opportunity, this might not be the perfect event for you! - YOUR CORPORATE CRYSTAL BALL GIVES YOU ALL THE ANSWERS
In this event, we’ve lined up a number of great questions to ask the panel about buying trends, vendor behavior, processes, and much more. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions directly to the panel. If your corporate crystal ball is already giving you insight to all of the answers to the questions, then maybe your time is better spent going bowling or hanging around the water cooler at the office? - YOU ARE WAY COOLER THAN MOST PEOPLE
There will likely be in excess of 100 people wanting to hear what our panel has to say about the staffing and recruiting industry. The attendees have tons of knowledge and are from all walks of life with lots of tidbits to share among the peer group. We think there are some pretty cool and interesting people that attend this event. But if you are way cooler than most, and have nothing left to learn, this event might not be for you. - YOU DON’T LIKE FOOD OR DRINK
Last year’s event was held at the same location: Pinstripes in Northbrook. Pinstripes does a phenomenal job of serving up tremendous appetizers and finger food, including a great selection of soft drinks and beverages. We know that not everyone likes to eat or drink, but when it’s included as part of the ticket price, how can you go wrong? But again, if you aren’t someone who likes to eat or drink (while simultaneously getting the inside scoop about your industry – direct from the source), this event is definitely not for you!
On the other hand, for those of you agree that this is a no miss occasion, you can register now. Otherwise, for those of you that miss it, we’ll be sure to give you a synopsis in our Q1 update; but don’t expect us to unveil any of the real secrets!
