Recruitment technology provider Avionté recognized by Minnesota Business Magazine for employee satisfaction
Staffing and recruiting software provider Avionté is excited to announce that they have placed on Minnesota Business Magazine’s 2015 100 Best Companies to Work For list. It is the third consecutive year the company has placed on their annual award list.
The local list consists of the top 100 scoring Minnesota companies, selected based on the results of an anonymous questionnaire containing questions related to work environment, employee benefits, and overall employee happiness. The questionnaire was distributed earlier this year by an independent research firm selected by the magazine.
“The fact that we’ve continued to be recognized as one of the best places to work in Minnesota year after year is an incredible honor and something I am very proud of,” said Avionté CEO John Long. “We encourage our employees to speak up about what they need at the workplace to be happy and successful, and we take their needs seriously. When your employees enjoy what they’re doing, are motivated, and see value in their work, only good things can happen. And I think it really shows in our client and employee retention rates.”
The company, which provides staffing software and technology solutions to the human resources industry, is approaching its 10-year anniversary this November and now employs nearly 100 people at its Eagan office. The company reported a user retention rate of 99% in 2013 and 2014 and supports nearly 10,000 users on its staffing software platform.
Avionté’s Eagan office features an innovation room, a café-style break room, ping pong lounge, and “Beer Fridays”. Recently, based on employee requests, the company installed standing desks, dual monitors and docking stations. Two walking treadmills were also brought in to help keep employees active and healthy while at work. Outside the office, the company organizes events ranging from sporting events, game nights, volunteer activities, and more to further employee bonding and create work-life balance.
“We’ve placed significant importance on creating a work environment that lends itself to not only a more innovative and productive environment for our employees, but also one that’s more collaborative and relaxed,” said Avionté’s Talent and Development Manager Angela Lawrence. “Your employees are your business’ foundation. If they aren’t happy, everything else is bound to fail.”
Minnesota Business announced the results on their website in mid-March, 2015. Avionté will be presented with the award at the upcoming Minnesota Business awards event at the Depot Renaissance Minneapolis on June 4, 2015 and will be highlighted in the June issue of Minnesota Business.
